West Baton Rouge Parks and Recreation invites kids and families to make the most of summer with our exciting Summer Enrichment Programs! Our programs are designed to keep young minds and bodies active, engaged, and inspired all summer long—right here in our community.  Each year, we offer a FREE dynamic mix of engaging activities designed to spark imagination, encourage movement, and build lasting friendships.

Crescent City Circus

Get ready to be amazed! Crescent City Circus, a vibrant performance troupe based in New Orleans, brings high-energy entertainment and jaw-dropping talent wherever they go. Known for their dazzling blend of acrobatics, juggling, clowning, and theatrical flair, their shows are packed with creativity, color, and crowd interaction. Whether it's gravity-defying stunts or moments of pure whimsy, Crescent City Circus delivers a one-of-a-kind experience that captivates audiences of all ages.

The TMM Project

The "True Mission Matters" is a fun interactive program that features a live Saxophonist, Drums, Step-Dancing, & Street Dance.  They will showcase and speak on the importance and positive impact of coming together to work hard to accomplish goals. At the end of this fun and engaging performance viewers will have the opportunity to learn fun dance moves.

Mitch the Magician Comedy Magic Show  

A Magical Day with Mitch the Magician is a 40-minute fun, fast-paced, interactive comedy magic show that is squeaky-clean and sure to please every age! Mitch the Magician uses a variety of props and volunteers to create silly situations that always end well with enormous laughs from the crowd! Also included is "The Big Bubble Show", a teaching demonstration for the audience. Guests will learn how to make the biggest bubbles they have ever seen using only soap and water! They can then go home and make big bubbles for themselves!! Mixed in with the fun is a heavy emphasis on learning new things and practicing what you have learned to gain confidence in yourself!  Fun, educational, and guaranteed to laugh out loud funny!!
